Just had pizzas, and those were good. However... we&#39;d booked a table, but had to wait for 10 mins to be seated. It was cold - my wife had to put her coat back on. It wasn&#39;t warm outside, so you&#39;d have thought they&#39;d have turned on the heater over the (open) door, but they hadn&#39;t. There was quite a long wait before our orders were taken, then a another long wait before our food arrived. Our young waitress was apologetic - she was good, but the other 2 older more senior staff didn&#39;t seem that bothered. If I was the waitress I&#39;d be looking for a job elsewhere.We can&#39;t recommend it based on today&#39;s experience.

Piccolo Mondo

The atmosphere of this restaurant is great. The vegetable pie was delicious and we had a nice prosecco and drinks. The risotto was nice but lacked a bit in flavor. It can get a bit noisy when there are more people in the restaurant.

Fantastic place in the amazing old part of Lucca. Food really tasty and good, staff very nice, welcoming and friendly. I strongly recommend it if you want to taste Tuscany speciality based on a wide range of slow cooked meats, good wines etc etc

Wanted to eat somewhere away from the busy tourist centre, within the walls. Was told there was no such thing in June in Lucca. Found this gem, lovely quiet street, could sit in or out, chose out. Had perfectly cooked king prawns for starters, and equally perfectly cooked seabass for main, delicious, as were the sides and wine. Friendly service from all the staff including the (I think) the owner, and (I think) his wife the cook. Would return if ever I&#39;m back in Lucca.

Fun and creative menu with the best local produce. Excellent wine pairing. Worth going to!

May 2023We booked our reservation on &quot;The Fork&quot; one hour before going to dinner.  We arrived a few minutes late and it was no problem at all.  The staff was very attentive and patient (slight language barrier) with me and my wife.  The service was quick (but not too fast) and the food was fresh, hot and fresh.  We dined inside and were surrounded with wine bottles from many, many vineyards which provided a casual elegance to the dining experience.  We enjoyed the appetizers, 1st course, 2nd course and the dessert.  The wine selections for us was perfect.  Need I say more???  Go there and enjoy a wonderful meal at a very, very reasonable price.

This was a wonderful place to have lunch in Lucca. The food was great, the staff were lovely and very good with small children. Would recommend it highly !

The food was excellent.   The broccoli flan and lasagne were extremely tasty and well made.  The ravioli in sage butter was also very good.  The portions were a good size for one person.

Didn&rsquo;t seem to understand our order. This was confirmed when only 1 dish arrived but hey did resolve it quickly.. Then the bill was wrong. Only 20% given instead of the 30% quoted in the Fork. They did adjust it but it was still wrong and I couldn&rsquo;t be bothered arguing. The food was nice but nothing special. The wine was reasonable value.

Very nice experience, food was great, service quick!  special thanks to the waiter who took time to speak in Italian to let us practice , I am from the catering business and I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff .

Stunning place a little bit hidden so not too noisy, incredible cocktails, great menu.Professional, but in the same time friendly service. I&#39;m just wondering why didn&#39;t I know this local beforeHope to come and visit you again!
